Below is a fairly comprehensive list of historical web sites which give information on the medieval fortifications of England and Wales together with general history. The purposes of this list is save the reader the trial of viewing the poor sites. All the sites listed have a degree of quality to them. However, this does not mean that there are not other quality sites out there. There are also sites that cover Old British Law Court Records.
